My Story So Far:
My starting point goes back to 2010, when I started as an in-house professional in a well-known translation agency in Barcelona, but in 2012 I became freelance.
I have got a Translation and Interpretation degree from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and many other certificates. I specialize in finance, technical and software translations from English and German into Spanish and Catalan.
I usually deal with financial, technical and software projects for multinational companies which lead their respective sectors, like SAP AG, and have a broad experience in MTPE.
Studying a foreign language doesn't make anyone automatically apt to translate. Translation is a vocation. It's a passion.
No machine will ever truly provide the best translation for you. That's why I specialized in MTPE.
I also use CAT tools which help translators perform their daily tasks with ease. These are SDL Trados Studio 2022, SAP, or XTM for example.
